When you're ready to remove an application from your instance of Jamf Now, you have two options:
- Hide the app from view but leave it connected to your instance, or
- Completely remove the app from your instance
Hide an app
It does not matter whether an app is VPP enabled if you simply want to hide it from view on your main Apps page in Jamf Now.
To do so:
- Scroll to find the app in the Apps page in your Jamf Now instance
- Click the ellipsis to the right of the app
- Click "Hide App"
The hidden app will appear greyed out
Remove an app
To completely remove an app from your Jamf Now instance, you need to first know whether the app is VPP enabled.
If it is a VPP-enabled app, you will need to go to Apple's VPP portal, log in, and remove the app from there.
If the app is not VPP enabled, you can simply click the ellipsis on the right side of the app and then click "Remove App" to remove it entirely from your Jamf Now instance.
