While Jamf Now makes deploying apps incredibly easy, sometimes those large downloads can inadvertently eat up cellular data. The good news is that your users can control how cellular data is used.
On each cellular device (iPad or iPhone), users can turn off cellular data for Automatic App Updates or turn off cellular data for the App Store completely. This is something you'll need to ask your users to toggle as it cannot be done remotely.
Settings -> App & iTunes Store -> Use Cellular Data -> on/off
This will prevent automatic app updates from using cellular data (only happens over Wi-Fi)
•Settings -> Cellular -> on/off for the App Store
This will prevent any App Store activity, including new apps deployed from Jamf Now or app updates, from using cellular data (only happens over Wi-Fi)
