If you are locked out of your Jamf Now account with Two-Factor Authentication (Two-Step Verification) turned on, you can follow these steps to recover your account.
Note: If you have Disable Two Factor by Email turned on and would like to disable this feature, you will need to disable Two Factor completely. You will then be available to turn Two Factor on without the Disable Two Factor by Email option.
Disable Two-Factor for your account with email recovery:
Important: This method will only work for accounts with Two-Factor Email recovery turned on. If you enabled Two-Factor before 12-14-2016, Email recovery is enabled for you by default.
1. Log in to your Jamf Now account at login.jamfcloud.com
2. When Jamf Now asks for your 6-digit code, click on the Disable Two-Step Verification link.
3. You will now be prompted to send an email to the email account associated with your Jamf Now account in order to turn off Two-Factor.
Gain access to your account with a backup code:
1. Log in to your Jamf Now account at login.jamfcloud.com
2. When Jamf Now asks for your 6-digit code, click on the Use Backup Code link under the Login button.
3. Select a backup code from your list of 10 that you received when turning on Two-Factor, and input it into the 8-digit backup code box. Click login.
Important: If you do not have Email recovery turned on or any of your recovery codes, Jamf Now support does not have the ability to unlock your account. This is a security measure to keep all of our customers and your account safe.
