We are aware of a product issue that may cause FileVault to fail to turn on when using a Mac running macOS 10.13. Additionally, if FileVault is enabled manually the recovery key is not escrowed.
How to resolve
- On the Blueprints page, click Security, scroll down and click the green Save Security Settings button.
*Note: even if you have not made changes to this page, clicking the button will force the product to refresh the security profile on your Mac. The refresh will take a few minutes and will resolve the issue.
- Once the refresh is complete, your macOS device should function normally.

This issue does not impact other parts of the Jamf Now system or usability of the device.
