Web Clips allow you to add quick-access icons to your home screen (iOS) or dock (macOS) that link directly to specified web pages.
Web Clips can save your team time by linking directly to frequently used resources. In combination with restricting Safari you can also improve your security posture by allowing users to access only a select few web pages.
Before you begin
If you already have a web clip deployed, pushing a new web clip will reset the location of any existing clips to their original location on the home screen or dock.
This will not affect their functionality but users will notice their location change if they moved the clips from their default install location.
1. In a Blueprint, click the Web Clips tab.
2. If this is your first time making a Web Clip, click Add Web Clip.
3. Give the clip a name, fill out the URL, and (optionally) add a custom icon. Finally, choose if you want the clip to open in fullscreen mode and if it should be removable by the user.
4. Click Save Changes to create the clip. It will be automatically deployed to eligible devices in the current Blueprint.
