We are aware of an issue with Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP) that is intermittently impacting Jamf Now's ability to communicate with VPP.
When Jamf Now is unable to communicate with VPP or the communication takes longer than expected, you may see degraded VPP functionality in Jamf Now.

When Jamf Now is unable to reach VPP within a set amount of time, Jamf Now will assume that you do not have a VPP token even if you already do.
- If your existing VPP token disappears:
You may see your existing VPP token disappear from your Jamf Now dashboard. If this occurs, you still have a VPP token and connection but Jamf Now is unable to communicate with the VPP service. This may impact your ability to connect new apps, deploy apps and more.
Again, if you had an active VPP connection prior to this issue, you still have a VPP token in Jamf Now despite Jamf Now showing that you do not. Your token should restore when VPP is restored to full functionality.
If this issue causes your existing VPP token to disappear:
- Log out of your Jamf Now account.
- Wait a few minutes.
- Log back in and check your VPP page. If Jamf Now is able to successfully reach the VPP service, your token will restore automatically.
Jamf Now's connection with VPP may be intermittently impacted by this issue. Because the issue is intermittent, you may see VPP service come and go over time.
This issue is limited in scope to VPP service and does not impact other parts of Jamf Now.
